Complete Your CU Boulder Degree
Your degree is closer than you think. CU Complete is a service designed to help former degree students learn about their options to complete their degree. To get started, please complete our online readmission form and make an appointment with a Continuing Education Academic Advisor.
Start Planning
We recommend you contact Continuing Education at least 6 weeks before the semester in which you plan to enroll begins. It can take two to four weeks to generate a degree analysis, which outlines the degree requirements you will need to complete your degree. Together with an academic advisor, you will use your degree analysis to create a plan to reach graduation.
CE Online Courses
CE Online Credit courses are a great option for students who require more flexibility in their education or are no longer living in the Boulder community.
Transfer Credits
You may consider completing some of your remaining requirements at another institution and transferring the credit, however please note that only CU Boulder course grades are calculated into your GPA. If you decide to take classes at another institution, make sure you check Transferology first to ensure the class will transfer to CU Boulder. If you are a College of Arts and Sciences student and do not see a class listed on Transferology, you should submit the Transfer Credit Preapproval Form before you register for the course. Once you have completed all coursework at another institution, you must submit an official transcript to CU Boulder’s Office of Admissions. Students in the College of Engineering & Applied Science, Leeds School of Business, or in the College of Media, Communication, and Information need to go through the relevant college for preapproval.
Who is My Advisor?
A Continuing Education advisor can help you determine the best point of contact in your former school or college to answer your questions about completing your degree. The departmental advisor will become your main point of contact to answer any questions about course work and graduation requirements. Continuing Education advisors will provide supplemental support, should you be enrolling in online classes and have questions about enrollment, deadlines, online format, etc.
