Tuition & Fees
Tuition and Fees for Visiting and Non-Degree Students
You can find tuition and fee information for ACCESS, CE Evening Credit, CE Online Credit, and Applied Music on the Tuition and Fees page. Students can pay tuition through their student portal.
Student Fee Package
Non-degree students may be eligible to waive the student fees package. If you purchase the student fee package, you must also get a Buff OneCard. There is a one-time cost of $30 to obtain this ID card.
Health Insurance
Non-degree students enrolled in courses for credit may be eligible to purchase the CU Gold Health Insurance Plan through the on-campus healthcare provider.
In order to be eligible for health insurance you will need to email us at ceadvise@colorado.edu with your request. In addition, you must pay the optional student fees (for the bus pass, recreation center, etc.) in order to enroll in health insurance. Learn more about eligibility requirements, deadlines, and other information on the student health insurance website or call 303-492-5107.
Summer Session
Students enrolled in a health insurance plan during the spring semester are covered through the summer.
New summer students are not automatically enrolled in an insurance plan but have the opportunity to purchase coverage at the Wardenburg Health Center by July 1. Payment is due at enrollment.
College Opportunity Fund (COF)
Colorado residents taking undergraduate courses should complete the one-time online application to take advantage of state funds designated for students attending a participating college in the state of Colorado. Be sure to authorize CU to apply COF to your tuition and fee bill for the semester if you are enrolling in daytime, main campus courses. COF funds do not apply to the cost of CE Evening Credit and CE Online Credit courses.
Scholarship
If you are a non-degree student, you may be eligible for up to $1,000 through the one-time Non-Degree Student Scholarship. During the summer, we offer a one-time $500 scholarship that applies toward students enrolling in Summer Session (main campus) classes.
