ENVS 3032 Environment, Media and Society

3 credit hours

Examines how mass media influence our society, specifically with regard to environmental issues and outcomes. Focuses on media influence over environmental politics and policy, environmental public opinion, popular culture, and environmental/scientific knowledge. Fulfills intermediate social science requirement for Environmental Studies major. Recommended prerequisite: ENVS 1000.
