Supporting Your Student through Academic Difficulty

Continuing Education Student Services will offer a new online webinar for parents and guardians of students who have been recently placed on academic suspension.

If your student received a suspension notification this semester, you may be wondering what that means, what your student’s options are, and how you can best support your student.

In this webinar, CE academic and career advisors will:

  • Provide an overview of suspension policies and options,
  • Address some common misconceptions about Continuing Education, and
  • Give guidance on how you, as the student’s biggest champions, can help support your student during this time.

The webinar, entitled “How to Support Your Student through Academic Difficulty: From Suspension to Reinstatement”,  is intended for parents, families, coaches, students, and anyone else interested in learning more about navigating suspension and helping their students successfully return to good academic standing.

The event will be hosted via Zoom on Monday, June 14th from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. MT.
