Upcoming Resources to Help You Get Ready for The Fall

We will host a series of short, live events in July and August that cover a range of topics designed to help students navigate the application process, succeed in our courses, and take advantage of available university resources.

What to Expect in an Online Class

If you’ve never taken an online class at CU Boulder, you might have questions about what to expect. Continuing Education Instructional Designer, Nikolas Hunnicutt, and Online Credit Program Manager, Amy Li, help you get started in this 20-minute webinar by showing you what Online Credit classes look like and what types of assignments and classroom discussions you’ll be asked to complete. They will also give you tips on how to be successful and answer your questions.

Nondegree Student Financial Aid

The financial aid landscape for nondegree students at CU Boulder looks different than for degree-seeking students. To help nondegree students understand their financial options, Continuing Education is partnering with the Office of Financial Aid to host this 20-minute webinar. Continuing Education Advisor, Graham Douglas, and Financial Aid Counselor, Allie Masse, will cover financial aid eligibility and application information. There will be time at the end of the presentation for you to ask questions.

How to Apply as a Nondegree Student

This 20-minute webinar presented by our Enrollment Services manager, Jared Martin,

orients new nondegree students to the application process and answers the most commonly asked questions about fees, transcripts and test scores, application processing time, and how to find relevant information on the CE website.

Own Your Journey Conversations

At Continuing Education, we know there’s no better teacher than real experience, so we are kicking off a new series of events to share and celebrate the remarkable stories of our students and the challenges they have overcome to reach their educational goals.

Listen to the inspiring stories of two students who faced very different challenges while working on their degrees and hear how Continuing Education played a role in helping them achieve their goals.

These 30-minute recorded conversations are available on our YouTube channel.

We will announce our fall student conversation series in the fall, so keep checking our website and Facebook page to learn more.
