Discover the Best Career Path for You This January
The holiday season is a time of year that often asks us to reflect on the meaning of our lives and invites us to change. If you are at a junction in your career, whether you are just entering the job market, interested in making a career change, or seeking meaningful work after retirement, Continuing Education’s Career Exploration Workshop may be able to help. Hands-on exercises and workshop discussions help you discover your career passions by identifying who you are through your interests, values, skills, strengths, and personality type. This class guides you to find a career direction that will bring you satisfaction no matter where you are in your career.
The course is taught by Dahlia Smith, a licensed clinical social worker with over 21 years of experience. She counsels job seekers, students, and career changers. “I believe that people ultimately have the desire to make a fulfilling contribution during the course of their lives,” she says. “What better way to do that than thorough a meaningful career?”
The 6-week course meets in the Continuing Education building every Thursday from January 19 to February 23, 2017. Choose from two sections:
- 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.
- 4:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.
Continuing Education is located at 1505 University Avenue in Boulder; workshop participants will meet in the third floor conference room (#306). The cost of the workshop is $250, which includes individual career advising sessions after the workshop ends.
The application deadline is January 12, 2017. Learn more about the workshop and enroll today!
