Margaret Van Sistine Romero

Margaret Romero has been teaching trumpet since the fall of 2003. She earned her undergraduate degree in trumpet performance at the University of Wisconsin- Madison and her master’s degree, also in performance, at the University of Colorado Boulder. Currently, Margaret is finishing up her doctoral degree in Boulder. She teaches privately and is the trumpet instructor at both the Rocky Mountain Center for Musical Arts and CU-Boulder’s Continuing Education program. Margaret performs with the Wyoming Symphony Orchestra and is an active freelancer along the front range. Her individualized approach to each of her students, experience, and passion for teaching have helped her build a successful teaching studio of strong, young trumpet players.
