Presented by Elizabeth Fenn, Professor and Chair of History and recipient of the 2015 Pulitzer Prize for History
Professor Fenn will discuss the great smallpox epidemic of 1775-82, the subject of her book, Pox Americana. The talk will be followed by an interactive discussion of the impact of infectious disease, past and present. Participants will be invited to share their own experiences and opinions.
