New Visiting or Nondegree Student

Auditing Courses

Do you love taking classes but hate the idea of homework, papers, and exams? Our non-credit auditing options could be right for you. Auditing a course allows you to attend classes and enjoy lectures given by CU Boulder’s world-class faculty without staying up late to study.

Community Auditors

Community members age 18-54, who are not registered students but wish to listen in on regularly scheduled lectures, are eligible to audit main campus courses and Evening Credit classes offered through Continuing Education during the fall and spring semesters.

Senior Auditors

The CU Boulder Alumni Association offers a special Senior Auditors Program for Colorado residents age 55 or over. Contact the CU Boulder Alumni Association by phone at 303-492-8484 or email at seniorauditors@colorado.edu for more information.

The Au Pair Language & Culture Program

The Au Pair Language & Culture Program is designed for au pairs. Each 8-week course provides 36 hours of instruction. Au pairs can take 2 courses to meet the 72 hours required for a J-1 visa. Courses are designed for intermediate- to advanced-level speakers of English. Please contact the International English Center for more information.

Now that you’ve selected your favorite Continuing Education courses, email or print the information, including class number, to more easily search MyCUInfo and enroll. Still have questions? Contact an advisor.
