Online Billing and Payment

Students and parents or other authorized payers can safely and securely view and pay bills online.

For Students:

You can view your bill and pay online via Buff Portal. You will need your IdentiKey and password to access Buff Portal. Once you have logged on to Buff Portal, select the Tuition & Fees card. Click Balance Summary, then View/Pay Bill. This will take you to the CU Bill&Pay system where you can:

  • Create a Payment Profile to store your bank account or credit card information so that you can quickly make payments in the future.
  • Set up Authorized Payers (such as a parent, spouse, or sponsor) to view and pay the bill on your behalf. IMPORTANT: After you go through the online authorization, you must give your Authorized Payer their login name and password which you created to enable them to access CU Bill&Pay. They will receive an email with the log in link.
  • Add a secondary email address in User Preferences if you would like to receive bill and payment notification at another address in addition to your official CU email address.
  • View Accounts to see a copy of your latest bill statement as well as prior electronic statements. You can download and print a copy of the bill from this page as well.
  • Select Make Payment to pay from your checking or savings account, or with a Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express credit card.
  • View Transaction History to access all electronic payments made on your account via CU Bill&Pay.
For Parents or Authorized Payers:

You will receive an email once your student has created an authorized payer account for you. You will need to get the password from the student and access CU Bill&Pay using the link provided in the email. Once you have logged in, you can:

  • Select Change Password to reset the temporary password your student has assigned to you to ensure privacy of data and information. Once you set up your permanent password, your student will not have access to this information.
  • Create a Payment Profile to store your bank account or credit card information so that you can quickly make payments in the future.
  • Select User Preferences to indicate the email address Continuing Education should use for billing notices and confirmations of payments you make in CU Bill&Pay.
  • View Accounts to see a copy of the latest bill statement as well as prior electronic statements. You can download and print a copy of the bill from this page as well.
  • Select Make Payment to pay from your checking or savings account, or with a Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express credit card.
  • View Transaction History to access all electronic payments you have made in CU Bill&Pay. You will not be able to see payments made by others.

Third Party Billings

A third party billing is when the student brings an authorization (a letter, PO, etc.) from his/her company stating the company will pay immediately for the class when billed. If for some reason the company does not pay Continuing Education, the student is responsible for the tuition. For more information please contact the Accounting Department at 303-492-2212.

Now that you’ve selected your favorite Continuing Education courses, email or print the information, including class number, to more easily search Buff Portal and enroll. Still have questions? Contact an advisor.
