Programs: CU on the Weekend
Presented by David Ciplet, Assistant Professor, Environmental Studies
Far beyond merely molecules of carbon in the atmosphere, climate change is an issue defined by competing ideas of fairness and justice. David Ciplet, assistant professor of environmental studies and author of Power in a Warming World, will explore how systems of inequality are at the root of inaction on climate change, how we may conceive of a more just path forward, and the opportunities to realize this vision.
The lecture is in English and no registration is required. The presentation is part of CU on the Weekend, which is free and open to the public. Seating is limited to the first 200 people.
If you would like emailed event reminders for this lecture or others in the series, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
